2020 Winston-Salem, NC Camp Recap

Our first camp in 2020 was arguably our best camp ever with a deep talent pool. Over 70 players participated and played in front of coaches from three NBA G-League teams, as well as coaches from Germany, Mexico, TBL, and the ECBL. We expect a record number of contracts to come from this camp as we not only had active coaches coaching but also several ECBL and TBL GM's and owners in attendance as well. 4 different agents and agencies also made their way into the gym.

Team Wolves, coached by David Solomon (Winston-Salem Wolves, ECBL) won the championship by beating Tyler Gatlin (Stockton Kings, NBA G-League) Kings squad in the championship 68-55. The Wolves went 3-0 and placed 4 players in the Top 20 game.

Quiron Cooke, a 6'4" guard from Benedict College, walked away with the MVP award after being consistent over all 3 games and helping lead the Wolves to the championship. Cooke has good athleticism, played both sides of the ball, knocked down shots, and didnt make mistakes. He has experience in the TBL and would be a good get for teams in Germany Pro-B, Denmark, U.K., or Luxembourg.

The camp concluded with the annual Top 20 game which saw Team USA coached by Tanner Massey (Northern Arizona Suns, NBA G-League) and Aaron Hogner (Winston-Salem Wolves, ECBL) win big over the Team World squad.
