Meet The Team
George Nessman
George Nessman, co-founder of Coast2Coast Basketball L.L.C. , is a former long-time college basketball coach. Known for his emphasis on player development, he has coached over 70 players that moved on to the professional ranks, including a number of players who were in the NBA. George served at the NCAA D-1 level as the head coach at San Jose State and was an assistant at his alma mater the University of California-Berkeley. Nessman also was a JC head coach at Porterville JC in California. He was inducted into the California Community College Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2015.
James Blackburn
James brings 20 years of basketball experience to Coast2Coast working at all levels, from the pro ranks in the NBA/Europe, to college and HS, serving in various capacities including job placement, coaching, scouting, and player development. James currently is an agent for SLASH International. James has helped secure over over 300 contracts in 70 different countries along the way.
